Pixie Body Works saved my sanity. I was suffering from pretty bad insomnia and Page was professional and fantastic with her table massage. I slept like a baby for the first time in months. If you're looking for a de-stresser, this is it. <\/p>\n

I've had multiple sessions with Page in the past, a wonderful experience each time. <\/p>\n

This week we tried Lazy Girls Yoga as a change of pace. (Being a girl is optional, don't let the name fool you!).<\/p>\n

We did a 2.5 hour session, and it's a huge help for those of us in desk jobs. The mobility in my right shoulder is a lot better, and it limbered up my legs after hours of time in an office chair. Highly recommended!<\/p>\n

I had my first massage with Page last week and absolutely loved it. This was my first experience with Shiatsu and Thai massage and I didn't know what to expect, but Page made me feel comfortable every step of the way. The massage room is very cozy and calm, and Page provides instruction and feedback without preventing you from enjoying the experience and letting go. <\/p>\n

Unlike Swedish massage or most massages you get in a spa here, the Thai\/Shiatsu style massage was held on the floor (instead of a table), which gives the therapist a chance to access different muscle groups and perform deeper stretches. I liked that I got to wear my own comfy clothes instead of worrying about draping or accidentally showing anything I don't want seen haha. I wore a tank top and shorts, and it didn't hinder her ability to access my muscles at all. <\/p>\n

What I really loved about this style of work was how much variety there was, and how much more I was able to get out of the massage because of it. My shoulders felt much better\/looser afterward, and I got some good stretches around my hips that I've never been able to get to before with table massage. Afterward, I couldn't stop raving to my friends about the experience - I even texted my dad in Chicago to tell him to look into it! If you're nervous to try this out, I'd highly recommend Page. What a great experience! Page took time before the massage to check in with me and get a read on what I was experiencing in my body that day. The massage itself was fantastic. She encouraged me to give her feedback throughout, and she was responsive when I did.<\/p>\n

She was also easy to talk to. Between that and the space she's in, I felt completely at ease throughout. She diffuses essential oils and her music is, in a word, magical.<\/p>\n

At the end of the massage she gave me an Epsom salt\/essential oil blend to soak in later to prevent soreness, and she followed up with an email giving me information on how to best optimize my post-massage experience.<\/p>\n

I'd been adverse to receiving mat work, because in the past, it has increased my low back discomfort, vs relieving it.<\/p>\n

I was so intrigued by Page's integration of modalities, that I wanted to give her work a chance--and I'm glad I did.<\/p>\n

I definitely want \"Lazy Girl Yoga\" as a regular addition to my wellness routine.<\/p>\n

Her space is cozy; and the session is transcendent.<\/p>\n

I had the pleasure to experience Page's table massage today. Of all the experiences I've had with massage therapy this was by far the best. Her combined blend of techniques make for quite a unique experience different from any other I've had. The setting of the studio is very pleasant, comfortable and relaxing. Her take on mat based massage (aka: Lazy Girl Yoga) truly feels like you can come in, lay down on her mat and then she does all the hard work- even though she makes it feel effortless! I liked that I could show up in my yoga pants and tank top and we got right to work.<\/p>\n

I have tight pecs and hips, and at one point, she was addressing both areas of my body at the same time and I didn't even realize it because it felt so awesome and specific to what my body needed. This type of massage is totally different from any table-based massage work I've received and I loved it! I still feel the benefits of the pec work weeks later.<\/p>\n

Her studio space is perfect for the type of massage session she offers. It's cozy, has low lighting, is warm and very relaxing. She even sent me home with a custom made epsom salt\/essential oil mix to soak in the tub with so I can continue to self care at home.<\/p>\n
